Conversation with a Banker
Banker:  Hello, my name is Jim.  Please sit down.  Tell me your
name.


Customer: Hi Jim, my name is Eileen


Banker:  What information about our services would you like to ask?


Customer: Can you tell me about your Checking accounts?


Banker:  Our basic checking accounts are $4 per month and can
be opened with only $1.  Our regular checking account is free as
long as you have direct deposit and can be opened with $100.  We
offer unlimited ATM withdrawls and free online banking.


Customer: Can you tell me about your savings accounts?


Banker:  We offer savings accounts that can be opened with a
minimum of $50 that are free as long as you deposit at least $25
per month.  We also offer children’s savings accounts that can be
opened with just $1.  Every time money is deposited, children earn
rewards toward certificates to McDonalds, Blockbuster and Toys
‘R Us.

Customer: What kind of loans are available?


Banker:  We have different types of loans.  We have home loans,
auto loans and personal loans.  The rates vary for each type.  You
have to fill out an application to qualify.


Banker:  Now I will ask you some questions.  First, do you have a
bank account now?


Customer: Yes


Banker:  Which bank do you have an account with?  How long have
you had the account?  


Customer: I have an account with bank of America. It is a savings
account, and I have had it for a few months now.
Banker:  Can you tell me how many ATM transactions you
are allowed to make with our regular checking accounts?

Customer:   unlimited

Banker:  Can you name two types of loans that our bank
offers?

Customer:  home, auto, personal

Banker:  Can you tell me the minimum amount of money
needed to open a children’s savings account?

Customer:  $1
