You: I want to ask about his reading level. Teacher: Your son’s reading level is appropriate for the grade level. I encourage him to continue reading for 20 minutes per night at home. You: How is his math? Teacher: His math level is slightly below grade level. Please support him by encouraging practice of math facts every evening. You: Thank you, I will do that. Teacher: Thank you so much for coming to meet with me today. Your support of your child’s education is extremely important to his/her success.
